A focused renovation that retains useful fittings while giving the room a more contemporary, mineral and warm identity.
The project story
The existing bathroom combined white tiles, an ageing floor and a composition with little definition. The bath, radiator and furniture could nevertheless be retained and integrated into a new reading of the space.
The intervention therefore focused on visible surfaces and junctions: a continuous grey floor, dark wall cladding, refreshed paintwork and timber details that warm the overall composition.

The challenge
Retaining part of the existing equipment required precise dimensions, angles and junctions. Every new finish needed to feel designed with the original elements rather than simply added around them.
Our response
The old floor covering was removed before the substrate was prepared and the new grey floor installed. Dark cladding around the bath structures the room, while timber profiles and skirtings add a warmer contrast.
